      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Monitor and resolve claims on the discharged not final billed (DNFB) list
      - Ensure timely electronic filing of claims and follow up on unpaid Medicaid claims
      - Perform extensive account follow-up and document efforts in the AR system
      - Review explanation of benefits and ensure accuracy of patient responsibility statements
      - Communicate with patients and healthcare providers to gather information for claims processing

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High School Diploma or GED
      - Minimum of 1 year of experience in patient registration, billing, or equivalent roles
      - Working knowledge of medical and insurance terminology
      - Ability to review and comprehend HCFA billing with insurance or government agencies
      - General computer proficiency, particularly with electronic filing systems

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience working directly with explanations of benefits (EOBs) and contractual adjustments
      - Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor
      - Knowledge of general insurance requirements and payer resources
