What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Act as the primary billing liaison between customers and the employer, ensuring excellent service
- Oversee billing and accounts receivable-related tasks, including preparing and maintaining reports
- Translate complex contract terms into customer billing and assist with variable billing
- Participate in month-end close processes, including accruals and journal entries
- Support audits with third-party vendors and complete special projects as assigned
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 2-5 years of accounts receivable experience required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
- Strong background in accounting and accounts receivable
- Proficient knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Workday experience is a plus
- Basic understanding of revenue recognition rules
- Robust mathematical skills with experience using Excel software
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
