What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Monitor claim status and record updates in the system daily for commercial insurance billing
- Ensure timely collection of outstanding accounts receivable and resolve billing issues
- Review Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and assist with patient billing inquiries
- Conduct outbound calls to insurance companies and patients to reconcile account issues
- Facilitate appeals to insurance companies for higher payments and manage correspondence

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or equivalent; college education preferred
- 1-3 years of experience with receivables and collections in a healthcare setting
- Strong telephonic communication skills
- Ability to perform clerical and accounting functions related to billing
- Proficient in handling customer service inquiries regarding accounts

- Experience in billing and follow-up processes within the healthcare industry
- Familiarity with insurance claim processing and appeals
