Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Sports Subject Matter Expert Linguist with a strong emphasis on soccer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the sport, excellent linguistic abilities, and the capability to translate and localize content accurately and engagingly.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

In this exciting position, the content reviewer will localize, translate, and adapt soccer-related content while adhering to writing style guides and linguistic guidelines. The ideal candidate will have a profound understanding of soccer concepts, including teams, players, leagues, tournaments, and game terminology, along with exceptional linguistic skills.

Subject Matter Expertise

Provide insights and expertise on soccer-related topics to enhance content accuracy and engagement.

Research and Development

Conduct research to support content creation and ensure the accuracy of soccer-related information.

• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Translation, Journalism, Sports Management, or a related field.
• Experience:
• Experience in translation and localization, with a focus on sports content.
• Demonstrable expertise in soccer, including knowledge of teams, players, leagues, and tournaments.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in English and the target language, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both.
• Strong understanding of soccer terminology and the ability to convey the excitement and nuances of the sport.
