Arctic Initiatives Subject Matter ExpertThe Opportunity:

As an Arctic defense mission professional, you’ll bring your strategic, operational, and consulting expertise to work on projects for US European Command. You’ll research, plan, coordinate, and support initiatives in conjunction with the US Government, Allies, partners, and the Arctic community of interest to improve understanding, enable effective strategy and policy, and help to implement efforts to promote US and US European Command interests in the Arctic region. You’ll be a trusted advisor to our clients, and we’ll look to you to identify, analyze, and evaluate complex systems, policies, and processes related to US interests in the Arctic.

You Have:
· 5+ years of experience with strategy, planning, and policy
· Knowledge of Arctic considerations, including ongoing and emerging global policy discussions, decisions, and actions related to the Arctic
· Ability to travel throughout Europe
· Secret clearance
· Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
· Experience with studying, coordinating, or implementing strategy or activities related to the Arctic
· Knowledge of specific US strategy, doctrine, and emerging direction related to the Arctic
· Knowledge of Ally, partner, or global community efforts toward the Arctic
· Knowledge of military, commercial, energy, or scientific implications for the Arctic

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
