Must have a bachelor’s or associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy, or Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy Assistant or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant program.

Must meet all certification and licensure requirements as established by the state and national board associations.

Active state license.

Must possess a current certification from NBCOT if required by state – OT/COTAs only.

Must possess a current certification from ASHA (CCC) Certification – SLPs only.

Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience.

Must have multi-site management experience (1-3yrs)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Possess current working knowledge of Functional Pathways policies, procedures, and clinical programs with application skills to therapy disciplines.

We are seeking an experienced and driven Area Director of Operations (ADO) to lead multiple facilities across Illinois. In this salaried role, you’ll also have the opportunity to earn quarterly incentives based on performance. Regular travel is required to support and engage with our on-site teams, making a hands-on impact.
The ADO is responsible for ensuring seamless operations and delivering high-quality care across all facilities. This includes conducting on-site visits, fostering team engagement, identifying and addressing challenges, and ensuring accessibility to staff. You’ll lead structured meetings with Team Leaders, collaborate closely with facility administrators, and maintain open communication with the VP of Operations. Additionally, you’ll oversee documentation processes, performance evaluations, and staff disciplinary actions while driving quality assurance initiatives and implementing innovative rehabilitation programs.
