      JOB TITLE: Area Host

      LOCATION(S): Yorkshire Region (ideally Leeds, Sheffield)

      HOURS: Full-time

      About this opportunity:

      We have permanent opportunities at Citra Living Ltd for Area Hosts, where you’ll build and manage the relationships of our residents and support the management of the developments across your region.

      Citra Living Limited is the Group’s Private Rental Subsidiary. Its purpose is to Help Britain Prosper through improving access to good quality, affordable rental homes across the UK whilst delivering diverse and sustainable financial return to Group. The intention is to work with leading house builders, and other participants, through strategic partnerships to identify sites and support the building of additional housing, with Citra Living buying the rental element of these new developments and then letting the properties to customers.

      As well as ensuring continued support for the house building sector this will also help to address the continued increase in demand for rental properties. The properties, which will be incremental stock to the UK, will provide modern, good quality homes to meet the demands of a growing rental market, and they will be within easy reach of local transport, amenities, and leisure facilities.

      This role will be in our In-House Operations Team where you'll work closely with internal key stakeholder such as property managers, mobilisation managers as well as external stakeholders such as 3rd party suppliers, developers, Estate Agents etc. Your role will be key to the success of Cita In-Housing Team as you'll spend most of your time dealing with customer ( tenants) from viewing through to moving them into their homes.

      As Area Host, key accountabilities include:

      As a member of the Citra Operations Team, you'll carry out the following tasks:

      • Gain the respect and support of the residents, through delivering great customer service, by delivering prompt responses to customer enquiries, through whichever channel they are received (telephone, email, face to face, social media)
      • Dealing with and reporting on issues in a timely and professional manner
      • Responsible for progressing of all Customer (Tenant) applications.
      • Carrying out viewings/ move-ins/ move-outs with prospective tenants
      • Arranging and facilitating repair work with tenants/ and access to the building/flat
      • Be proactive to ensure a secure, safe, and successful estate, ensuring the building meets
      • all health & safety requirements and fire risk assessments.
      • Build a good working relationship with the management company responsible for the overall site management.
      • Assist in delivering all Key Performance targets relating to asset/ tenancy management and operations.
      • Ensure tenancy documentation is complete, agreed and correctly filed as well as ensuring homes are ready for occupation.

      What you’ll need

      Our ideal Area Host will be able to demonstrate the following skills:

      Essential:

      • Passionate about delivering the highest level of customer service.
      • An ability to engage with others at all levels easily through excellent written and verbal communication skills, ideally with a background in a customer-facing role.
      • Possess a UK driving licence (you’ll be required to be mobile and able to cover the required region)
      • Proactive self-starter and disciplined lone worker with ability to self-organise, plan, and prioritise activities.
      • An ability to remain calm and controlled under pressure.
      • Understands and acts upon customer needs to maintain company reputation, actively seeking interaction and engaging with residents.

      Desirable:

      • Experience of Lettings and Property Management
      • Comfortable working in a change or changing environment.
      • A growth mindset and a willingness to try new ways of doing things; ‘We’re bold’ in Citra.
      • A good range of IT skills
