What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with Army financial stakeholders to identify and document IT system needs for budget formulation, execution, and analysis
- Develop detailed requirement documents tailored to Army budgetary processes
- Act as a liaison between Army finance teams, IT development teams, and other military units
- Ensure IT solutions adhere to DoD financial regulations and federal accounting standards
- Evaluate current IT systems supporting Army budgeting processes to identify gaps and areas for enhancement

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Strong understanding of Army and DoD budgeting processes, policies, and regulations
- Familiarity with IT systems used in financial management, such as GFEBS or similar platforms
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
- Active Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI)
- 2 - 3 years of experience in IT requirements analysis, focusing on financial or budgetary systems

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Understanding of Army/DoD budgeting processes, including Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE)
- Knowledge of systems development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
- Certification in business analysis (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) or financial management (e.g., CDFM, CGFM, DoD FM Certification)
- Experience in working within a government or military environment
