ECS is seeking talented and driven professionals to support the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H). In this role, you will serve as a Contract Specialist to ARPA-H-enabling the agency to manage and provide oversight to advanced R&D efforts; help shape future R&D concepts, programs, and solutions; integrate and advance our nation's healthcare ecosystem processes, policies, and enabling technologies; and enable the agency to expand its healthcare and scientific scope into yet unknown areas. As a Contract Specialist, you will provide support to R&D performer teams, Government Program Managers, and stakeholders across the health innovation ecosystem.
What you will do: - Assist with the development and administration of ARPA-H projects to include tasks such as: development of acquisition documents, solicitation material, administration of source selection reviews, and assessing technical solutions. Assist with monitoring project performance and assists in the review of contract deliverables to ensure technical, programmatic, and financial goals and objectives are met.
- Collaborate effectively within a diverse team:
- Build strong relationships with scientists, engineers, and other advisors involved in the program.
- Communicate complex scientific concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Actively participate in brainstorming sessions and problem-solving exercises to drive the program forward.
Salary Range: $75,000 - $130,000

- EDUCATION - Bachelors Degree required
- Five years or more experience in Contracting and/or Procurement
- Experience in federal acquisition requirements/regulations required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research, analyze data, and write reports.

- U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency is required per contract.
