Job Description

- Build a strong relationship with artisans and support them on their journey with Via Arno
- Input into the development of support initiatives that will help build artisans business skills and promote sustainable practices.
- Maintain current and up-to-date signed artisan contracts and user manuals
- Manage packaging distribution to artisans and monitor standards are followed by all
- Input into the ongoing assessment of the artisan mix by supporting in identifying areas to grow, maintain or downtrend and apply to future planning.
- Periodically share artisan insights that can inform curation and merchandising decisions
- Ensure the smooth running of the artisan onboarding process, and identify and suggest areas for improvement
- Utilize artisan feedback to identify opportunities to test and continually evolve the artisan onboarding process
- Manage and maintain the artisan and product information files/uploads ensuring they are complete and up to date, ensuring accuracy and quality
- Manage the collection and ongoing management of all content for website and marketing purposes as required
- Ensure accurate and secure record keeping of all artisan data
- Any required additional responsibilities and duties outside of this description
- Effective communication skills, all verbal, written + visual
- Strong organisational and analytical skills
- Highly collaborative, flexible, and resourceful
- Have a ‘can do’ attitude
- Ability to work entrepreneurially fast-paced, ambiguous environment to support the establishment and scaling of the business
- Additional spoken languages are a plus, but not a necessity (French or Italian)

Focusing on the beauty and spirit of human making, Via Arno will give a global audience the opportunity to buy works of exceptional quality from independent artisans. Their work ranges from making objects – to wear, furnish a home and use in daily life – to providing specialist services and unique experiences.
Via Arno is part of the Richemont Group, which also champions craftsmanship through its support of the Michelangelo Foundation for Creativity and Craftsmanship. Via Arno will launch in 2023.
The Artisan Support associate will play a pivotal role to deliver our purpose and vision – supporting with the communications, onboarding, and management of our global artisans.
This position is responsible for supporting the relationships with the artisan community. They will be a critical driver of growth – collaborating with artisans, relevant external partners and across the business to enable their success, and drive performance across all categories and channels.
This position requires an original outlook, strong organisational skills, an effective communication style, as well as product sensibility.
