What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and maintain software applications on the iSeries/AS400 platform, utilizing RPG and CL programming
- Gather requirements, design, develop, and test complete systems, ensuring compliance with department standards
- Provide user support and training for system implementation and daily operations
- Create and maintain system documentation throughout various phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Collaborate with external vendors to meet business needs and provide on-call support for assigned subject areas

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum educational requirement: High School Diploma or GED
- Proficiency in RPG and CL programming languages
- In-depth knowledge of the IBM i operating system and database management concepts (DB2, SQL, Query)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a programmer in an AS/400 iSeries environment
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, with the ability to work in a distributed environment

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- AS Degree or higher in Computer Information Systems or a related field
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Experience integrating application systems with iSeries
- Knowledge of security concepts applicable to the role
