What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide interpreting and/or transliterating services for Deaf/Hard-of-Hearing consumers and hearing consumers primarily in healthcare settings
- Facilitate communication using American Sign Language, spoken English, and cultural mediation
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all medical information
- Follow the NAD-RID Professional Code of Conduct and render messages faithfully
- Strive to further knowledge and skills through participation in workshops and professional meetings

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Complete proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
- Valid certification from the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID)
- Knowledge of the NAD-RID Professional Code of Conduct
- Strong attention to detail and good customer service skills
- Ability to work well with minimal supervision and maintain a flexible work schedule

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Medical interpretation experience
