  About the Role

  As a Data Engineer I you will analyze complex datasets, generate insights, and develop data-driven solutions to enhance business decision-making. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions. Commencing January 2025.

  Responsibilities

  • Ability to Write and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of simple complexity.
  • Solving simple bug fixes.
  • Assisted by senior-level engineers, implement development processes, adhere to coding best practices, and participate in code reviews to achieve success.
  • Assisting in various development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) while collaborating with key stakeholders.
  • Solving basic technical issues as necessary.
  • Researching and implementing new data science techniques and technologies to improve processes.
  • Basic oral and written communications skills.

  
  Requirements

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctorate degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Systems.
  • Display knowledge of data storage subsystems.
  • Have knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Maintain knowledge of data manipulation languages.
  • Have understanding of data modeling principles.
  • Understand applicable development languages Java/J2EE, JavaScript, JSP, C/C++, HTML, XML, SQL, Windows, UNIX, and .Net.
