      Job Description

      We are seeking a dedicated assembler to join our team in producing HVAC units. This role involves working on multiple assembly lines and being placed in different positions, such as Coil Slab assembly, lacing, and the manual melting line.

      Responsibilities

      • Assemble HVAC units by placing coils into metal slabs.
      • Perform lacing tasks and operate the manual melting line.
      • Utilize various tools including screw guns and mallets.
      • Learn and execute multiple positions on the assembly line.
      • Maintain a clean and organized work station.

      Essential Skills

      • Experience in assembly line work.
      • Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
      • Ability to follow instructions and learn new tasks quickly.
      • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.

      Additional Skills & Qualifications

      • No high school diploma required.
      • Must have steel-toed shoes.
      • Ability to work in a team environment.

      Work Environment

      Our manufacturing facility is temperature-controlled, though it can get hotter in some areas on the assembly line. The environment is very loud, requiring ear plugs, but it is clean and organized with clear signage and instructions. We have TVs displaying production numbers and an open-door policy with the Plant Manager. The facility operates on three shifts: 1st shift (6am-2pm, Monday-Friday), 2nd shift (2pm-10pm, Monday-Friday), and 3rd shift (10pm-6am, Sunday-Thursday).

      This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vidalia, Georgia.

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.50/hr.
