      Position:

      Assembler/Machine Operator

      Bonus:

      Potential to earn a 3% bonus based on the overall performance of the plant!

      Shifts:

      2nd and 3rd Shift openings!

      2nd Shift - 2:00 P.M. to 10:30 P.M.

      3rd Shift- 10:00 P.M. to 6:30 A.M.

      Comfortable working 12-hour days as needed. Availability to work overtime and weekends as needed. Ability to come in early or stay late depending on production demands.

      Summary: In this position you will operate automated and semi-automated production machines to manufacture automotive batteries.

      Primary Duties

      • Adhere to all safety standards including the wearing of Personal Protective Equipment (safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, respirator).
      • Learn how to perform all functions on assigned production machines, including controlling and adjusting machine settings, feed raw materials or parts to semi-automated machines.
      • Verify product meets quality standards and keep records of approved and defective units.
      • Clean equipment, tools, etc. and surrounding area between jobs to maintain a clean and orderly work area.
      • Grease and oil machines and perform minor repairs.
      • Perform preventive maintenance on machines.
      • Prepare daily production, maintain records of production and time reports.

      Qualifications

      • Ability to stand/walk for long period of time.
      • Ability to work in a hot environment.
      • Ability to physically bend, twist and kneel in a safe and efficient manner.
      • Basic computer skills.
      • Basic math, reading and writing skills.
      • Must be able to wear required PPE.

      About Us:

      Our Toledo Facility, in Ohio is a fully integrated plant that manufactures batteries used in automotive and marine applications. This is our largest plant at Clarios. We opened our facility in 1981 and now employ more than 600+ people and operate six days per week. We are actively involved in our local community and give back through the United Way, Habitat for Humanity, Cherry Street Mission and Ronald McDonald House.
