Job Description

- Administer examinations for all assessment venders as needed.
- Review assessment results when needed and direct students to appropriate services.
- Travel to CVTC testing sites in Menomonie, River Falls, Eau Claire, Chippewa Falls, and Neillsville as needed.
- Update Pearson VUE Site Manager scheduling for regular semester hours and end of term testing for the 5 campuses, including General Education Development (GED) testing.
- Maintain Pearson VUE updates and security certificates throughout the year at all 5 campuses.
- Update GED testing database for scores and completers.
- Manage availability of Health Education Systems, Inc. (HESI) testing through Appointments Plus for River Falls and Eau Claire campuses.
- Manage EMPCO test availability through EMPCO website.
- Execute daily closing tasks: print testing schedules for next day, update walk-in sheets, organize and close Assessment Center.
- Provide secondary support to the Academic Advising and Student Success department by answering phones, scheduling appointments, updating monthly report information, generating score reports, and initiating reminder phone calls.
- Assist with various projects such as new procedure guidelines as new tests emerge, client reporting, and Early Alert, Registration, phone calls, and staff scheduling.
- Complete all necessary documentation prior to, during, and after each assessment session.
- Maintain certification as Pearson VUE proctor.
- Ability to understand and interpret assessment administration guidelines.

- Intermediate knowledge of and skills with technology including software programs for communication, data collection, and decision making including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to travel (i.e., access to reliable transportation) to various testing sites as needed.
- Associate’s degree in a human services related field.
- Minimum of two years of experience in a student services or related area, including experience with assessment, and testing.

Overview and Responsibilities
The Assessment Center Assistant is responsible for administration of multiple assessment instruments at all CVTC sites and providing clerical assistance for the Academic Advising, Student Success, and Career Development Department.
