Asset Records Technical Assistant

Salary: £27.3k - £32.7k per annum (Dependent on skills & qualifications)

We are looking for a Technical Assistant to support the implementation and ongoing management of records within our Asset Records team based in Horley reporting directly to one of the Asset Records Support Assistants.

What will you be doing day to day?

• Management of locations and assets within Maximo (creating/removing)
• Scheduling maintenance in line with policies and procedures
• Investigating queries
• Updating and issuing reports
• General support for records submitted as part of projects
• Effectively Communicating with internal stakeholders including depot leads and asset engineers
• Supporting with other Asset Management activities

What you’ll need

• You will be highly organised, capable of working under pressure to tight deadlines and responding to changing priorities at short notice
• Accuracy and attention to detail is essential.
• Have or be able to develop a basic understanding of how operational gas assets and systems work to interpret various formats of asset data.
• Highly motivated with a flexible approach and ability to work as part of a team or alone dependent on task.
• Ability to respond and adapt quickly to change; and meet tight deadlines
• Strong communication skills supporting regular liaison with other departments and stakeholders within SGN or externally
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and have the ability to use multiple software packages to manage workloads and tasks.
