      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Provide legal advice and representation in the enforcement of statutes and governmental actions
      - Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis of statutes and case law
      - Draft briefs and judicial decisions for appellate cases
      - Collaborate with colleagues on interdivisional projects and legal assignments
      - Perform administrative functions and duties as assigned

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Juris Doctor degree and professional experience as an attorney
      - Experience or coursework in criminal law
      - Proven ability to conduct in-depth legal research
      - Experience analyzing statutes and case law
      - Proficiency in writing or drafting briefs or judicial decisions

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience writing appellate briefs or arguing before an appellate court
      - Background working in a clerkship or for a court at the appellate or federal level
      - Experience representing the state or serving as counsel for a government agency or official
