      We are delighted to announce a unique opportunity to join a growing team with exciting plans to expand the services we provide. This new post will be an Audiology Assistant Apprenticeship with potential for progression on completion of the course.

      Main duties of the job

      You will:

      • Support the Audiology service
      • Perform clinical tasks including hearing tests, repairing hearing aids and advising patients on using their aids
      • Perform administrative tasks
      • Oversee stock levels
      • Participate in service development

      • Five or more GCSEs, including English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent qualifications)
      • IT proficiency, with basic computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Office

      Desirable

      • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent or Science-related A-Levels

      Experience

      Essential

      • Experience in a clinical, client-centred, or public-facing role, including experience working with the public

      Desirable

      • Work within the NHS
      • Experience with hearing impaired individuals

      • Demonstrated interest in audiology and direct patient care
      • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
      • Good literacy and numeracy
      • Eligible for apprenticeship programme - resident in UK/EU for at least 3 years.
