What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct legal research and provide recommendations on case dispositions
- Advise law clerks on case analysis and disposition
- Confer with justices regarding legal issues and case processing
- Maintain familiarity with current issues in Minnesota state and federal courts
- Participate in rules committee meetings and assist with administrative tasks

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Possession of a law degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a licensed attorney in litigation and appeals
- Admission to the Bar of the State of Minnesota and eligibility to practice law in Minnesota
- Outstanding legal research, analysis, writing, and oral communication skills
- Thorough knowledge of substantive and procedural law, including trial and appellate procedures

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Substantial experience in workers' compensation and tax litigation
- Significant appellate experience, including appellate clerkship experience
