What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and implement professionalism and professional identity programming for law students
- Monitor licensure reforms and design interventions for students facing academic challenges
- Provide individualized counseling and academic advising to support bar passage rates
- Manage vendor relationships related to bar preparation programs
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to enhance the effectiveness of student support services
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Doctorate in Law
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Academic Support, Bar Passage, Student Affairs, Academic Affairs, Counseling, or Diversity Services in higher education
- Member in good standing with a state bar, admitted to practice in the United States
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Familiarity with learning management systems or educational technologies
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Demonstrated knowledge of learning theory and experience working with students facing academic challenges
- Creative problem-solving skills and ability to navigate administrative rules and policies
- Experience providing bar review preparation or academic support
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects efficiently
- Familiarity with data analytics platforms to drive decision-making for student support
