What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Monitor program compliance with ACGME standards, deadlines, and reporting requirements
- Develop and oversee action plans for program areas, including duty hours and citation resolutions
- Lead strategic planning for the expansion of the GME network across Michigan
- Chair quarterly Graduate Medical Education Committee (GMEC) meetings and provide leadership on compliance and strategic decisions
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful program implementation

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Doctorate degree (MD, DO, or Ph.D.)
- Minimum of two to three years of professional experience related to medical education
- Three to five years of leadership experience in Graduate Medical Education
- Strong interpersonal and administrative skills
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with MiDocs programs or similar initiatives
- Proven ability to develop and implement strategic plans for educational programs
- Familiarity with ACGME accreditation processes and requirements
- Strong communication and collaborative skills with diverse groups
- Prior experience in outreach efforts to underserved communities
