      As the Assistant Director of Academic Operations, you will be at the forefront of driving continuous improvement and innovation in academic operations. Your responsibilities will include managing key systems, facilitating smooth transitions, and fostering student engagement through outreach initiatives. With your exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities, you will streamline processes and ensure efficient operations across various academic domains.

      Position Number: S80005

      This position is a Grade: 8 - 40 with an approximate salary range of $46,870-$56,250 and is subject to change based on experience, skills and qualifications.

      Key Responsibilities:
      • Oversee the implementation and management of academic systems and workflows, including Course Inventory Management (CIM) consultant, Banner course scheduling, and other curricular processes
      • Lead the Degree Program Exception Petition process in DocuSign through implementation in Banner, ensuring consistent and timely handling of student requests for exceptions to degree requirements for all business programs
      • Collaborate with the Undergraduate Admissions team to strategize, lead, and execute admissions events, including information sessions, open houses, LehighFest, and recruitment events for prospective business students, both in-person and online
      • Oversee logistics and operations for admission-related functions, such as building the annual calendar of admissions events, to ensure smooth execution of outreach efforts to prospective and admitted students
      • Lead assigned data management, reporting, and analysis projects for academic, admissions, and operational purposes, utilizing systems like ARGOS, Tableau, and Excel
      • Support the College’s internal communications efforts, including content creation and direct content scheduling for the Undergraduate Business Website, social media channels (e.g., Instagram) and other digital platforms (e.g., BrightSign Digital Information Boards)
      • Assist with special projects and initiatives as directed by the Associate Dean and senior leadership, including new system implementations and process redesigns, that contribute to College-wide objectives

      Qualifications:
      Bachelor's Degree in Educational Leadership, Counseling, Education, Student Affairs, Higher Education Administration or a related degree; Master of Business Administration preferred
      • One to three years of related work experience
      • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously
      • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, and to engage effectively with students, faculty, and staff
      • Knowledge of academic systems such as Banner, CIM, DegreeWorks, or similar platforms is highly desirable
      • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), as well as familiarity with Google Workspace
      • Demonstrated ability to implement process improvements and handle operational challenges with attention to detail and a customer-service orientation
