What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist in planning and executing diversity-focused recruitment programs and events
- Manage communication plans and provide information for event materials and web updates
- Conduct recruitment presentations in high schools and community centers
- Serve as a liaison with external stakeholders for event coordination
- Review applications for admission and provide guidance to prospective students
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree with experience in admissions or college counseling
- Experience working with diverse populations
- Strong communication skills for effective presentations to individuals and groups
- Proficiency with Google Workspace or similar software
- Ability to manage recruitment travel and events, including evenings and weekends
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Advanced degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Familiarity with Slate, Banner, Common App, and Scarlet's Self-Reported Academic Record
- Experience advising student clubs or organizations
