What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist with planning and executing Campus Connection Day, Gateway, and other diversity-related programs
- Manage recruitment travel and a specific geographic territory within the U.S.
- Conduct recruitment presentations in high schools and community centers
- Serve as a liaison among external stakeholders for event coordination
- Advise potential students on admissions procedures and review applications for admission
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree with admissions or college counseling experience
- Experience working with diverse populations
- Ability to communicate and present information effectively to individuals and large groups
- Proficiency with Google Workspace or similar software like Microsoft Office 365
- Must pass a criminal conviction check
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Advanced degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Experience with Slate, Banner, Common App, and Scarlet's Self-Reported Academic Record
- Experience advising student clubs or organizations
