      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Manage engineering operations for broadcast control room facilities and athletic venues
      - Provide technical support and engineering input for live events and productions
      - Maintain equipment inventory and perform preventive maintenance on audio/visual equipment
      - Serve as a liaison to outside broadcast partners for athletics venues
      - Train students and interns on broadcast equipment usage and workflows

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's degree in a related field or a master's degree with significant experience
      - Relevant experience with live remote or studio broadcast productions as Engineer, EIC, and/or Video Shader
      - Working knowledge of fiber paths, termination, and transmission, including Single Mode Fiber
      - Proficiency in soldering cables and converting video codecs and formats for broadcast
      - Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and work outside typical business hours as needed

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience with broadcast A/V and IT production equipment and systems
      - Ability to rapidly diagnose video system and IT problems
      - Knowledge of IT systems, including trunked VLANs and switch-stack configuration
      - Certification as a Certified Broadcast Technologist (CBT) or other relevant certifications
      - Skillful knowledge of Ross broadcast software and EVERTZ equipment
