What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Directly manage a team responsible for clinical trial pre-award or post-award activities
- Build and negotiate clinical trial budgets and contract terms with various funding agencies
- Provide leadership in executing and negotiating clinical trial budgets and pricing agreements
- Serve as a local expert in clinical budgeting and compliance
- Develop metrics to ensure proper staffing levels and key objectives are met

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in biological sciences, finance, or a closely related field
- Minimum of seven years of progressive experience in clinical research coordination or project management
- Experience with academic medical operations and clinical research funding sources
- Knowledge of federal and non-federal regulations for grant writing and contract policies
- Proven ability to build and negotiate clinical trial budgets and develop performance metrics

- Experience in a leadership role within clinical research or project management
- Familiarity with federal and non-federal grant and contract policies in academic and medical research
- Strong analytical skills and experience in developing and applying performance metrics
