      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Manage a team responsible for clinical trial pre-award and post-award activities
      - Build and negotiate clinical trial budgets and contract terms with various funding agencies
      - Provide leadership in the execution and negotiation of clinical trial budgets and pricing agreements
      - Serve as a local expert in clinical budgeting and compliance
      - Develop metrics to maintain staffing levels and achieve key objectives

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's degree in biological sciences, finance, or a closely related field
      - Minimum of seven years of progressive experience in clinical research coordination or project management
      - Experience with academic medical operations and clinical research funding sources
      - Knowledge of federal and non-federal regulations for grant writing and policies for academic research
      - Proven ability to build and negotiate clinical trial budgets and develop performance metrics

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience in clinical research coordination within an academic or medical environment
      - Familiarity with federal and non-federal grant and contract policies
      - Strong analytical skills to develop and apply performance metrics
      - Background in compliance and human subject protection in clinical trials
