What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist the Director of Nursing in planning and evaluating home health services and staffing needs
- Serve as the Alternate Supervising Nurse and assess staff supervision during service hours
- Oversee the implementation and evaluation of client care services, ensuring compliance with regulations
- Develop and maintain referral sources while fostering relationships within the health community
- Ensure effective documentation systems to support medical necessity and homebound status of patients
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Valid Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license; Registered Nurse (RN) preferred
- Minimum of one year of experience in home health care or hospice
- Current CPR Certification
- Proven clinical nursing skills and ability to train field staff
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in nursing
- One year of supervisory or administrative experience in home health care or related fields
- Experience in business and financial management
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Strong character references and solid work background
