What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist the stormwater engineering team in implementing the DEP's "Stormwater Management Rules (Chapter 500)"
- Review stormwater management plans and systems for land development projects
- Conduct project reviews in a timely manner and evaluate stormwater problems
- Participate in pre-application and pre-submission meetings for land development projects
- Assist with training activities and workshops related to stormwater management

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Civil, Sanitary, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering, or related engineering field
- Certification of Engineer Intern issued by the Maine State Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers for non-engineering graduates
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Familiarity with civil engineering principles and practices related to stormwater management
- Experience with geographic information systems and surveying

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of stormwater-related environmental laws and rules
- Experience in stormwater modeling, computer-aided design, and drafting
