What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide legal support to the Data Analytics, IT, Privacy & Security, and Innovation teams
- Serve as a subject matter expert on legal and regulatory issues related to privacy, data, and security
- Offer day-to-day advice on legal issues related to intellectual property and technology solutions
- Monitor and advise on changes in laws or regulations impacting company strategy
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to implement practices that support innovation while managing commercial risk

What is Required (Qualifications):
- At least twelve (12) years of experience with exceptional academic and law firm credentials
- Minimum of five (5) years of in-house experience with a life insurance carrier preferred
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of data privacy laws and intellectual property, preferably in the life insurance industry
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong business acumen

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Solid experience advising on data privacy and security issues in the context of life insurance and annuity products
- Experience in drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements in a SaaS environment
