      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Review and sign out negative and straightforward positive clinical test reports
      - Provide high-quality test results within published turnaround times
      - Classify and approve straightforward variant alterations
      - Complete required competency and proficiency testing
      - Fulfill regulatory responsibilities as delegated by the CLIA laboratory Director

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Doctoral degree from an accredited institution in a field related to genetics
      - Board certification (or board-eligible) from the American Board of Medical Genetics and Genomics (ABMGG), or equivalent
      - Clinical Genetic Molecular Biologist Scientist (CGMBS) license from the California Department of Public Health
      - Successful completion of ABMGG fellowship program specializing in laboratory services
      - Technical knowledge of laboratory testing and terminology; capable of excelling in a team environment

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience in a clinical laboratory setting
      - Familiarity with bioinformatics and biostatistics
      - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
      - Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
      - Knowledge of regulatory compliance in laboratory settings
