What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Underwriting Technicians to ensure high performance and productivity
- Oversee daily operations, workload distribution, and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs)
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
- Identify inefficiencies in existing processes and implement innovative solutions for improvement
- Collaborate with stakeholders to map workflows and streamline interdepartmental processes

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 3 years in a leadership, management, or senior role within the insurance industry
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Insurance, or a related field strongly preferred
- Proven experience and understanding of insurance processing and underwriting operations
- Strong ability to mentor, coach, and develop team members
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher, or demonstrated equivalent experience with process improvement methodologies
- Knowledge of process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen
