      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Oversee the editorial support vendor, ensuring adherence to protocols for peer review and production
      - Manage solicited content from acquisition to submission, meeting goals set by the Editor-in-Chief
      - Copyedit and proofread critical materials, ensuring accuracy and consistency
      - Pull analytics data to review and report on journal metrics, measuring content impact
      - Organize and manage logistics for journal annual meetings, both virtually and in-person

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's degree in English, publishing, journalism, liberal arts, or a related field
      - Minimum of 3 years' experience with web-based peer review systems and editorial procedures for scholarly journals
      - Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to make autonomous decisions
      - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proficiency in advanced Excel and PowerPoint
      - Proven organizational and time management skills

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - 1-2 years' experience working with digital artwork and editing video in Adobe Creative Cloud for social media
      - Familiarity with current issues and trends in scholarly publishing
      - Experience proofreading with knowledge of AMA Manual of Style and AP Stylebook
      - Comfortable presenting to large groups, including leadership-level individuals
      - Experience training staff
