What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage and edit a publishing list of approximately 25 titles per year
- Brainstorm new book and series ideas with licensors
- Hire authors and edit manuscripts
- Write title information sheets and web copy
- Collaborate with designers and present titles at Sales Conferences

What is Required (Qualifications):
- 2 years or more of children's editorial experience
- Strong interest in licensed book publishing
- Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in presenting book projects at conferences
- Familiarity with the children's publishing market and trends
