What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Teach master's level courses in online formats, preparing syllabi and grading examinations
- Develop curriculum and programs while supervising counseling interns
- Provide academic advising and support to students throughout their registration process

- Engage in personal and professional development through research and publication within the field

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Doctorate in Counselor Education
- Minimum two years' experience as a licensed mental health counselor or school counselor
- Minimum one year of university teaching experience, particularly in online formats
- School counseling certification and/or clinical mental health counseling licensure
- Commitment to social justice and experience working with diverse populations

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Graduates of CACREP-accredited programs
- Familiarity with national and professional accreditation standards and processes
- Scholarly interests or expertise in areas such as educational technology, cultural competence, or restorative justice
