What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide leadership in the planning, development, and implementation of special education programs and services
- Oversee the development and implementation of specially designed instruction (SDI) for students with disabilities
- Conduct classroom observations to ensure that SDI is delivered with fidelity
- Manage and supervise special education teachers to ensure high-quality instruction and services
- Collaborate with district staff to prepare for audits and state reporting

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Georgia teacher certification
- Master’s Degree or participation in a program leading to a GAPSC Tier I Leadership Certification
- Strong technology skills, especially with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Expert knowledge of IDEA and Georgia Rules and Regulations regarding Special Education
