What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Teach painting courses at all levels and manage the painting curriculum
- Advise and mentor School of Art and Design students
- Supervise student workers and adjunct faculty within the painting area as needed
- Maintain the painting studio and ensure its operational effectiveness
- Teach foundation and seminar courses on an as-needed basis

What is Required (Qualifications):
- MFA in painting, studio art, or a related field
- Evidence of scholarship related to the position requirements
- Demonstrated ability to teach multiple aspects of painting, including observational and non-representational approaches
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively
- Knowledge of oil, acrylic media, and studio safety procedures
