  Summary of Job Duties:

  This is a 12-month, full-time faculty position with the option for non-tenure or tenure-track. The candidate will assume teaching responsibilities within the undergraduate programs on the Little Rock campus and engage in the scholarship and service missions of the College of Nursing.

  
  Qualifications:

  • Master’s or higher nursing degree, required.
  • Current unencumbered RN or advanced practice nursing license with eligibility for licensure in Arkansas.
  • At least three (3) years of RN experience in inpatient adult medical-surgical units or intensive care.
  • Two (2) years minimum teaching experience in a baccalaureate nursing program, preferred.

  Preferred Qualifications:

  • Doctoral Degree
  • Experience publishing or presenting scholarly works, preferred.

  Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver high-quality instruction in the Undergraduate BSN program.
  • Utilize innovative teaching strategies, including simulation and concept-based learning.
  • Engage in scholarly activities, research, and evidence-based teaching practices.
  • Provide academic advising and mentorship to students.
  • Participate in service activities at the college, university, and professional levels.
