What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist with engineering assignments, data entry, and project coordination
- Analyze reports, maps, drawings, and environmental data for landfill projects
- Prepare construction drawings and specifications using AutoCAD or Civil 3D
- Collect and review environmental monitoring data and prepare technical reports
- Inspect construction sites to ensure compliance with engineering plans and safety standards

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Civil, Geological, Mechanical, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering
- Valid California driver's license or ability to obtain one prior to starting
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and contribute to the team

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in a Civil, Geological, Mechanical, Chemical, or Environmental engineering role
- Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D or GIS skills
- 40-Hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification
- Experience with landfill design, renewable energy, or environmental monitoring
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certification or Professional Engineering License
