What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Supervise project manager and staff, providing training and oversight for students
- Coordinate clinical trials, including formulating research questions and ensuring regulatory compliance
- Provide scientific guidance and oversight for projects at the Medical Cannabis Research Center
- Present research findings at scientific meetings and publish results in academic journals
- Develop grant proposals and teach courses related to cannabis and drug policy

What is Required (Qualifications):
- MD or doctoral degree or equivalent training in a relevant field such as epidemiology or biostatistics
- Minimum of 5 years of experience using complex analytical approaches in research
- At least 5 years of experience in developing/writing manuscripts and grant applications
- Strong background in qualitative, quantitative, and mixed methods analyses
- Ability to collaborate effectively with faculty and researchers

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in cannabis research or related drug policy studies
- Previous involvement in leading clinical trials
- Established network within the medical or public health research community
- Strong publication record in relevant scientific journals
- Experience in teaching at the university level
