      As an Assistant Security Supervisor, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling a mall environment. We are looking for our next GardaWorld Ambassador to lead a great team of security professionals!

      Responsibilities for Assistant Security Supervisor

      • Provide coaching, guidance, and supervision to security team members

      • Regular interior, exterior patrols and checking all doors are secured

      • Manage difficult or irate callers. De-escalate tense situations over the phone

      • Engagement with customers, employees and visitors on the property

      • Surveillance of CCTV cameras, alarms, and access control systems

      • Performing in high-risk situations, with potentially high-risk individuals

      • Document all incidents through report writing

      • Liaise with clients to ensure effective communication and satisfaction.

      • Respond promptly and decisively to security incidents or emergencies

      • Apprehend offenders and turn them over to appropriate authorities

      Qualifications for Assistant Security Supervisor

      • 2 to 4 years experience in Security Industry

      • This position is in Red Deer

      • Valid security guard license and first aid card

      • Available to work flexible hours

      • Be eligible to work in Canada

      • Advanced computer and telephonic skills

      • Advanced operate security system surveillance, alarms and access control systems
