What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and maintain a funded research program in sustainable power and energy systems
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Electrical and Computer Engineering
- Engage in outreach activities and participate in department and university service
- Collaborate with other research groups and centers to enhance the Power and Energy Center's impact
- Stay informed about technical challenges related to power systems and contribute innovative solutions

What is Required (Qualifications):
- An earned Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, completed prior to employment
- Demonstrated excellence or high potential for excellence in research, scholarship, and teaching
- Ability to articulate a coherent agenda of research and identify potential funding sources
- Effective communication skills
- Willingness to work in a technology-based research and education environment

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in the role of PI or Co-PI on funded research projects
- Ability to collaborate with faculty from diverse disciplines
- Experience in mentoring students in research or as an academic advisor
- Interest in working effectively with a diverse student population
- Willingness to oversee student internships or service-learning activities
