      Job Description:

      • The Associate Material Planner accomplishes specific and routine material planning & forecasting functions for their assigned commodities. This includes supporting new part setup, establishing stocking plans, executing order plans, participating in parts-related projects & programs, and conducting material reviews to support fleet service levels.

      Responsibilities:

      • Track demand of parts/materials and create forecast modifications to mitigate disruptions to maintenance plans and operations.

      • Determine and implement appropriate stocking levels to achieve target service levels for assigned commodities and maintenance locations.

      • Provide in-person and remote information and updates to all Internal Customers and Team stakeholders impacted by material availability.

      • Coordinate with Supply Chain Management and Tech Ops Teams to determine material support actions and carry out order plans.

      • Collect raw data to identify opportunities to improve service, assess trends and report findings to Customers and Leadership.

      • Support cost saving, cost avoidance, and cost deferral opportunities for assigned commodities.

      • Support business cases and annual operating plans by identifying material support requirements to meet defined goals.

      • Participate in parts-related projects specific to assigned commodities and conduct material reviews to support fleet service levels.

      • Identify opportunities to create efficiencies within existing manual processes through automation or improvements in data management, partnering with other subject matter experts to implement enhancements.

      • Identify shortcomings in material support plans and enact solutions or escalate more complex problems to senior Planners to ensure resolution.

      • May perform other job duties as directed by Employee’s Leaders.

      Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

      • Knowledge of fundamental supply chain principles involved in supply and demand relationships and business practices used in a service environment.

      • Skilled in basic use of office productivity software such as MS Office, particularly spreadsheet tools such as MS Excel. Basic use of MRP, MRO, ERP, Service Planning technologies.

      • Skilled in effective time management skills and acting with a sense of urgency, while managing daily responsibilities with some direction and guidance.

      • Skilled in use of active listening and producing complete and accurate verbal and written communications, including reports.

      • Ability to partner with diverse Teams to accomplish project goals and convey information across a variety of communication channels.

      • Ability to assess multiple facets to a problem before taking action, recommend potential solutions, and learn from experience to make needed adjustments.

      • Skilled in utilizing available resources and applying new information to both current and future problem-solving.

      • Skilled in using logic and reasoning to identify a solution, conclusion, or approach to a problem.

      • Skilled in use of basic methods of analysis to obtain, sort, and categorize data, then provide required information.

      • Ability to demonstrate the highest level of ethics in all interactions with internal and external stakeholders.

      Education

      • Required: High School Diploma or GED

      Experience

      • Entry-level experience; developing skills and knowledge in:

        • Professional environment, such as Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or Logistics

        • Usage of various MRP/MRO/ERP or service planning technologies (e.g. Service Parts Management, Maintenix, QuickBase database management, Alteryx, Tableau, Salesforce, SAP ERP)

        • Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

      Licensing/Certification

      Physical Abilities

      • Ability to perform work duties from limited space work station/desk/office area for extended periods of time

      • Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job

      • Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job

      Other Qualifications

      • Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines

      • Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986

      • Must be at least 18 years of age

      • Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines

      • Must meet confidentiality expectations as to confidential, proprietary, and sensitive Company information

      • Ability to work flexible hours to successfully meet deadlines; extended work hours, including occasional weekend coverage may be required

      • Possible travel domestically/internationally 10-15%

      Pay & Benefits:

      Competitive market salary from $63,000.00 per year to $70,000.00 per year* depending on qualifications and experience**. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities are available and awarded at the discretion of the Company.

      **Competitive market salary from $63,000.00 per year to $70,000.00 per year is the starting salary range. Salaries may increase over time based on performance and market movement.

This role is a hybrid position based out of our Corporate Campus in Dallas, TX, which requires Employees to work onsite on our Corporate Campus at least three days a week.
