What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform various accounting duties under the direction of the Accounting Administrator I
- Reconcile accounts and prepare year-end financial statements
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports for the unit
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Participate in a team environment while working independently when necessary

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be eligible for appointment and able to work in the United States
- Background investigation clearance required before hire
- Basic knowledge of government accounting and state accounting processes
- Experience in reconciling accounts and preparing financial statements
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge and experience in the DMV's accounting procedures
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to exercise initiative and good judgment in financial matters
