We have an opportunity for an Associate Business Analyst to join our Pentair Pool Sales Operations team in Golden Valley, MN. We are a market leader in pool and spa equipment, offering an innovative product portfolio that includes pumps, cloud-based automation systems, heating solutions, cleaners, filters, lights, and more! Reporting to the Sr Manager of Sales Operations & Analytics, you will play a critical role in supporting the sales organization conducting day-to-day business and executing the strategic priorities of the Pool business unit. This is an excellent opportunity to partner cross-functionally with key internal and external stakeholders to directly impact business development and growth for this exciting and successful business!

You will:

• Create, execute, and maintain analytics reports within Tableau, Power BI, and Microsoft Excel that provide the business with valuable insights.
• Partner with sales, marketing, and product teams to support the business in understanding customer behaviors and sales performance.
• Respond to reporting requests that will assist the business related to financial planning, budgeting, and sales forecasting.
• Troubleshoot basic reporting issues for cross-functional business partners.
• Develop a robust understanding of existing data sources and data environment.
• Provide data support to the Pentair Dealer coordination team to track complex promotional programs.

Key Qualifications:

• Have earned a bachelor’s (B.S. or B.A.) degree.
• Have previous experience in data quality, business intelligence, business analysis, data visualization, financial analysis, marketing, or sales support.
• Experience creating or executing business-facing dashboards and data visualizations on business intelligence (BI) platforms such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Strong communication skills and experience partnering with cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to utilize multiple tools, databases, and/or software to produce a variety of reports.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and assignments with a high degree of autonomy and accountability for results.
• Experience utilizing Microsoft Excel for data manipulation, reporting, and/or analysis.
