      Are you looking for the next opportunity to revolutionize an industry? If so....

      We are targeting an experienced Associate Casting Director to cast primarily Non-Union Background Actors for television, film, promotional shoots, and other miscellaneous projects. The Associate Casing Director works collaboratively with clients and production in accomplishing their needs.

      KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

      • Accurately, creatively, and productively cast shows as assigned meeting the needs of the clients.
      • Build strong relationships with clients via telephone, production meetings and set visits.
      • Maintain a collaborative working relationship with casting partners ensuring client success.
      • Makes effective use of all available resources when given a project.
      • Gain knowledge of union contracts and adult and child labor laws.
      • Accurately report attendance and/or behavioral or client service issues.
      • Maintain cell phone/phone accessibility to clients and teammates.
      • Communicate accurate show information to talent and check talent availability as required.
      • Effectively serve as a member of the morning on-call and weekend rotation team and perform your typical duties as needed.
      • Participate in Visiting, a Q&A with Casting Directors and Background Talent as scheduled.
      • Accurately process Cast Clearances and Taft Hartley paperwork as needed.
      • Participate in team meetings and produce weekly status reports.
      • Learn all aspects of casting in preparation of becoming a Staff Casting Director.
      • Attend Production Meetings and set visits.
      • Other projects as assigned.

      JOB REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED

      • Casting experience preferred. Film/Television industry experience a plus.
      • Excellent client service / people skills- ability to work with many different personalities.
      • Quickly grasps new concepts and ideas and the willingness to learn new technologies.
      • Ability to work productively on multiple projects simultaneously in a high stress and noisy office environment.
      • Agility in problem solving as unexpected situations arise throughout bookings and on set.
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with superior attention to detail, and the ability to organize and express ideas clearly.
      • Self-starter with a positive attitude.
      • Strong attention to detail.
      • Must work flexible hours with no restrictions (overtime will be required).
      • Supporter of company procedures and values.
      • Must have reliable independent transportation.
