What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide concurrent and retrospective review to improve chart documentation
- Analyze charts for missing or incomplete documentation related to clinical treatment decisions
- Identify opportunities for chart documentation improvement and create queries for enhancement
- Collaborate with clinical departments to monitor processes that enhance quality and productivity
- Develop and implement clinical documentation improvement education plans for healthcare providers

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma / GED
- RN MN Board of Nursing (RNMNBN), Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), OR Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT)
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience OR inpatient coding experience
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to work between the hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- CCDS or CDIP certification
- Experience communicating with physicians
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Electronic Medical Records
- Experience in clinical documentation improvement
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
