      Summary

      Overall Purpose of Position

      As an associate consultant with Corporate Planning and Strategic Services (CPSS), you will support a diverse mix of internal customer projects as a member of a team of very capable colleagues. You will have the opportunity to develop and demonstrate competency with a variety of business consulting skills while managing specific components of projects and providing project leadership. You will partner with business areas across the organization to achieve more success by helping them anticipate needs, create strategies, overcome challenges and advance and deliver sustainable opportunities.


      Description

      What you will do:

      • Conduct in-depth quantitative and qualitative analysis of key cross-functional business processes within a specific business unit to provide leaders with critical data to make business planning decisions.

      • Manage assigned tasks in projects and work with customers to negotiate and manage deadlines based on the requirements of the business.

      • Identify, research, evaluate, and quantify all business solutions or opportunity aspects.

      • Consult with the corporation's managers, from front-line supervisors to vice presidents, and engage in the design, development, communication, and implementation of said business solutions or opportunities.

      Required Education:

      • Bachelor's degree (any major) OR

      • Four years of related work experience (e.g. management and business consulting), process improvement, corporate/strategic planning, financial analysis, business systems analysis, business development, market/industry research or management of a business operation, in any business setting including IT

      Required Work Experience:

      • Bachelor's degree, Any Major or 4 years related work experience (ex., organizational development, business analysis), and process improvement experience (ex., Six Sigma, and reengineering).

      Preferred Work Experience:

      • Four years of related consulting experience in project execution, organizational development, business analysis, process improvement, corporate/strategic planning, financial analysis, market/industry research, or management of a business operation

      We prefer you have the following abilities and experiences:

      • Improvement and Innovation: Proven technical experience in assessing, designing & creating innovative solutions to solve business challenges.

      • Technical and analytical execution to drive business decision-making: Advanced understanding of creating well-designed analytic and process solutions powered by MS Excel, MS Access, SQL, VBA, PowerBI, and Tableau to achieve results.

      • Effective Presentations: Ability to utilize effective storytelling techniques to transform insights, data, and recommendations into compelling executive messages.

      • Influencing and Collaboration: Proven capabilities to proactively partner with individuals/teams to win support and champion ideas from ideation to execution, as well as displaying qualities of a leader that engages, inspires, aligns, and moves people to act.

      Required Training:

      • PAHM certification within one year of the hire date.
