      The Opportunity

      Come join the Roche Healthcare Consulting Team as an Associate Workflow Consultant who will support our consulting team through data automation, analytics, and programming on topics related to clinical laboratory testing and workflow. This work is critical in helping to position sales/commercial opportunities with our key external customers.

      This is a remote work position. However you will travel approximately 50-75% (including overnights) and should reside within 50 miles of a major metropolitan airport in the US.

      This position is a 24 month fixed-term, full-time employment position with a possible extension up to a total of 36 months based on business need and job performance. You will receive healthcare benefits, PTO, 401k, paid holidays, and sick time.

      Key Responsibilities

      • Assist with the assessment and documentation of laboratory layouts and work practices including onsite data collection, lab measurements, and data analysis

      • Support the development of proposed future state lab designs through the use of design and visualization software

      • Develop and improve high-value re-usable templates, marketing materials, best practices, simulations, and tools

      • Support the development of standardized data analytics, reporting, and visualization for large data sets

      Who You Are

      Minimum Qualifications

      • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, computer science, management information systems, data analytics and visualization, or healthcare-related field AND

      • 2 years professional experience in the clinical laboratory and/or healthcare setting/industry focused on analyzing and improving processes OR selection and participation in an approved accelerated talent development, fellowship, or rotational program

      Preferred Qualifications

      • Certified Medical Technologist (MT), Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT), Cytotechnologist (CT), or Histotechnologist (HT) with experience using clinical IVD or pathology laboratory instruments/analyzers and understands laboratory workflow

      • Advanced written/verbal communication and presentation skills with the ability to interpret data and effectively influence internal and external stakeholders

      • Familiarity with design and visualization software and computer programming
